Lyra Art Studios

We are located on the top floor of the once Nickerson House Community Center on the corner of Delaine/Appleton Streets in Olneyville.  This photo is a composite image so it's a bit distorted.  I've also added the 'Lyra Art Studios' sign digitally since we are currently without signage.  The building will hopefully be painted this Spring-Summer. Our google maps address is 133 Delaine Street but the entrance is on Appleton Street.

LyraArtStudios consist of 7 private studios with a gallery and a conference room that we will be using to teach workshops. We are currently looking for 2 additional artists to join our community.

Our 2017 artists are

RIBS Rhode Island Black Storytellers

Katy Dika; soft goods designer

Art Impact-Nepal Art Show at Lyra Art Studios May 20th & 21st 12-3pm

Lumbini world peace forum & civil innovation lab event

Saturday May 20th & Sunday May 21st from 12-3pm we will be having a pop up gallery to showcase the Lumbini World Peace Forum and Civil Innovation Lab Event to support the survivors of the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. We will be displaying the art of Ajit Kumar, a top cultural award winner in Nepal and survivor of the Nepal Earthquake. Mr. Kumar will be speaking both days about his art and the progress of the earthquake recovery.  We will also be showing photographs after the earthquake by Robin Low, co-founder of Civil Innovation Lab.  There will also be handicrafts and products made by survivors living in temporary shelters in Nepal.

We would appreciate any support the Providence community could give to this show.  More information is here
